Kosciusko County

Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accident:

5:54 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 24, SR 19, south of West CR 250N, Etna Green. Driver: Amee M. Amburgy, 32, 11th Street, Rochester. Amburgy said she was traveling north on SR19 and there was a deer lying in the roadway. Amburgy said she was unable to avoid striking the deer with her vehicle. Damage up to $2,500. 

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

9:15 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23, Market Street, south of Hand Avenue, Warsaw. Driver: McKenan J. Biddle, 24, Placer Run, Fort Wayne. Biddle was traveling south on Hand Avenue, and thought his truck would fit under the viaduct; however, it did not. The top of Biddle’s vehicle struck the bottom of the viaduct. Damage up to $10,000. 

12:56 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 22, Winona Avenue,Warsaw. Driver: Arden L. McFarland, 59, North CR 175E, Warsaw. McFarland’s vehicle struck a parked, unoccupied vehicle as McFarland was exiting a parking lot. Damage up to $1,000.
