WARSAW — A Warsaw man allegedly stole a minibike from the Big R store in Warsaw.

Virgil Roy Dordon, 54, 2505 E. Center St., Warsaw, is charged with theft, a level 6 felony; and theft, a class A misdemeanor.

According to the affidavit of probable cause, on Sept. 12, a Warsaw police officer responded to a theft at Big R. A store employee said that a man entered the store and asked for an employment application, then went to the foyer area and selected a minibike that was in a box.

The employee said the man then exited the foyer, went past all points of pay, loaded the minibike into his vehicle and left.

Through surveillance video from the store, police identified Dordon as the man who stole the minibike.

Dordon was booked at the Kosciusko County Jail Oct. 19 on a $5,250 surety and cash bond. He was previously convicted of theft in May 2017.
