WARSAW — A Mentone woman was recently arrested and accused of child molestation.

Jasmine Davis, 18, 204 North Franklin Street, Mentone, was charged with child molestation, a level 3 felony.

On Oct. 9, Child Protective Services notified Warsaw Police after they received information that Davis had had intercourse with a minor sometime in September in Kosciusko County.

A day later, Warsaw Police spoke with Davis. She admitted she had intercourse with the minor, knew the person was underage and that doing so was illegal.

Davis was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail on Oct 10 with a bond of $20,250 surety and cash.
