SYRACUSE — One person was transported to a local hospital following a crash on North Indiana Avenue, just south of Wood Street. The accident occurred at approximately 10:35 a.m. Monday, Oct. 14.

The crash occurred between a Chevrolet Cruze and Jeep Grand Cherokee. After the initial impact, the Jeep continued northbound, going off the west side of the road, down an embankment and into a parked Dodge Ram truck. The driver of the Chevrolet Cruze sustained unknown injuries and was transported to the hospital.

Traffic was re-routed through the parking lot of the U.S. Post Office and on Wood Street.

Syracuse Police and Turkey Creek Fire Territory Fire and EMS responded.
