WARSAW — West Winona Avenue will be closed between Washington Street and Logan Street will be closed for a week beginning Monday, the city of Warsaw said in a news release.

The five-block closure is needed to accommodate ongoing sewer rehabilitation work.

The is also part of SR 25.

Local traffic will be detoured to Prairie Street. Truck traffic will be detoured to CR 100S and SR 15.

Residents who live on the closed blocks are asked to access their home by side streets and alleys. Any residents without alternate access to their home will be contacted by the contractor directly with a plan.

Motorists are encouraged to plan alternate routes and additional time, as well as to exercise patience during this closure to improve critical infrastructure, the news release said.
