WARSAW BOYS 2, GOSHEN 1

Ted Berelsman hammered home the eventual game winner Thursday to keep the Tigers unbeaten in the Northern Lakes Conference. Berelsman’s header came on the end of a Ethan Grill free kick. Warsaw opened the scoring when Jorge Rico used an Alejandro Murillo feed for paydirt to start the second half. Goshen got a goal back late, but the Tigers held on to move to 5-0 in the conference and in the driver’s seat to win the conference outright.

CONCORD BOYS 1, WAWASEE 0

Wawasee lost a heartbreaker in a makeup match with the Minutemen in Dunlap. Andres Dixon had the only goal of the match in the 52nd minute, a strike from 10 yards out. Concord won the JV game 6-0.

PLYMOUTH GIRLS 8, WAWASEE 0

Wawasee lost its fourth straight match via shutout Thursday in NLC play at home to the Pilgrims. Stats for the match were not provided. Plymouth won the JV match 2-0.

GOSHEN MIDDLE SCHOOL BOYS 9, WAWASEE 2

Xavier Washington and Landon Smith had the goals for the Warriors.

GOSHEN MIDDLE SCHOOL GIRLS 5, WAWASEE 0
