Kosciusko County

Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office responded to the following accidents:

3:00 a.m. Friday, Sept. 27, South SR 15 near West Dixie Drive, Silver Lake. Driver: Micah J. Kemp, 23, North CR 650 West, Nappanee. Kemp was driving his vehicle south on SR 15. When he looked at his phone, his vehicle left the roadway and collided with a utility pole. Damages up to $25,000.

8:16 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 26, North CR 175 East near East CR 550 North, Warsaw. Driver: Jordan T. Hupp, 25, Ranch Road, Warsaw. Hupp was driving his vehicle west on CR 550 north when his vehicle left the roadway and collided with a bike lane sign. Damages up to $2,500.

11:36 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 26, East US 30 near South CR 325 East, Warsaw. Driver: Angela D. Glock, 48, 53 EMS T34C Lane, Leesburg; and Unknown. Glock was traveling in her vehicle west on US 30 near CR 325 East. Glock said that an older gold-colored vehicle, possibly a Chevrolet Caprice, crossed US 30 at the intersection at CR 325. The gold-colored vehicle did not yield to traffic and collided with Glock’s vehicle. The gold-colored vehicle left the scene after the collision. Damages up to $2,500.

5:27 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, West CR 125 North near North CR 950 West, Etna Green. Driver: Patricia L. Sweet, 28, 20th Street, Tippecanoe. Sweet was driving her vehicle eastbound on CR 125 North when her vehicle left the roadway and struck a utility pole. Sweet complained of back pain. Damages up to $10,000.

Fulton County

Officers with the Fulton County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accident:

7:02 a.m. Friday, Sept. 27, SR 25 and CR 400S, Rochester. Driver: Jonathon K. Hedrick, 19, Rochester; and Erin N. Evers, 35, Fulton. Hedrick’s vehicle struck the Evers vehicle.

Elkhart County

Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accident:

6:28 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 26, SR 119 and CR 13, east of Wakarusa. Drivers: Robert Mason, 91, Elkhart; and David Sterk, 61, Akron. Injured: Penny Sterk, 52, East 100N, Akron, a passenger in the vehicle driven by David Sterk, complained of pain to the left foot and transported to Goshen Hospital. Mason failed to yield the right of way to the Sterk vehicle before proceeding through the intersection.
