Valley took care of business Wednesday night at home, defeating Marion 25-20, 25-17, 25-19 on a night where the green and gold donned purple in the team’s push to raise awareness and support for victims of domestic violence.

Valley had Hannah Engstrand again in the middle of its business, dialing up 37 assists and 11 digs to pace the win. Makenzie Woodcox had 19 kills and a block and both Brayden Baney and Alli Betten had two aces apiece.

Valley claimed the JV contest 25-23, 25-21. Macy Kirchenstien had nine assists and five aces and Karli Hogue dug 19 attempts in the Vikes’ win.
