Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accident:

1:56 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 10, North CR 800W, south of West CR 400N, Warsaw. Driver: Melissa Gunter, 49, Sheridan Street, Warsaw. Gunter told officers she felt like her blood sugar was dropping so she reached for her purse to get her medication. This caused Gunter’s vehicle to drive off the side of the road and strike a utility pole. Damages up to $5,000.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accident:

7:42 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2211 E. Center St., Warsaw. Drivers: Nathan York, 23, SR 15, Warsaw; and Sara Hawblitzel, EMS C27C Lane, Warsaw. York was backing out of a parking spot and struck Hawblitzel’s vehicle. Damages up to $2,500.
