Larry E. Hensley, 73, Warsaw, passed away at 3:38 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 1, 2019, in Mason Healthcare and Rehabilitation, Warsaw. He was born May 1, 1946, in Hardin County, OH to Edward and Ada W. (Hurt) Hensley.

Mr. Hensley was a Warsaw resident since 1993. He was united in marriage to Linda L. (Kelly) Robbins on Oct. 1, 1993, in Warsaw and shared 25 years of marriage.
He was employed in car sales for 25 years in Ohio and after relocating to Warsaw was a salesman for S. and B. Auto Sales of Warsaw. He was an avid musician, he was the lead singer, front man, bass guitarist and drummer for the country band “Sweetwater Express” while in Ohio. While performing with the band, they had the honor and privilege of winning the “Battle of the Bands” for the State of Ohio. In addition, he attended Warsaw Community Church.
Survivors include his wife Linda, of Warsaw; children: Todd Hensley of Ottawa, Ohio; Brent Hensley of McGuffey, Ohio; Wade (Lisa) Hensley of Ottawa, Ohio; Sidney Hensley of Lima, Ohio; Lindy (Hensley) (Jake) Metzger of Warsaw; Doug (Jackie) Martin of Freemont, Ohio; Jason Robbins of North Manchester; siblings: Patricia (Ron) Nelson of Ada, Ohio; Henderson “Hank” (Linda) Hensley of McGuffey, Ohio; Mike (Connie) Hensley of Lakeview, Ohio; Eddie (Sherrie) Hensley of Painesville, Ohio; Pam (Hensley) Artley of McGuffey, Ohio; Fred Hensley of McGuffey, Ohio; half-siblings: Barry (Carrie) Hensley, Jenny (Dan) Moore and Rodney (Kim) Hensley all of Marion, Ohio. Furthermore, grandchildren Christie, Ashley, Melanie, Eli, Brandalyn, Trent, Chris, Savannah, Maxwell Allen, Magnolia Lou, Alex (Amber), Nadallie, Naudia and Nolen and great-grandchildren Ella, Zach, Trinity, Piper, Quinn, Chase, Evan and Carson survive. He was preceded by a son Brett Robbins, and siblings Norma Jean Seitner, Virgil Hensley and Vernon Hensley.
Visitation hours are scheduled from 3-7 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 4, in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw.
His funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 5, in the Funeral Chapel with Pastor Jeff Pfeifer officiating. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
