WARSAW — During the month of September we are getting really creative. We start off the month with “I am Groot,” an acrylic painting on canvas, taught by Susie Schaetzle at 6 p.m. on Sept. 9.

All supplies are included in the price of $20, due at registration. At 5:30 p.m. Sept. 10, you can enjoy our “Make it Take it Craft, creating a mason jar string art. This class is free; however, registration is required.

Bring in the fall season by making your own Indian corn baskets. Marjorie Kennedy from Sweet Annie’s Basketry will instruct a class on weaving Indian corn baskets with colorful reeds and topped off with a colorful raffia bow. Each patron will be making two Indian corn baskets for $20, due at registration.

Sonrise Crafting Innovations & More is hosting a stencil painting class at 10 a.m. Sept. 21. There will be a couple of different sizes in the round boards or the centerpiece/toilet box. Prices vary; please register at the library.

We will wrap up the month with Midnight Rose Wool Felted Sculptures teaching how to create a festive pumpkin with wool.  This project is for patrons 15 years old and older for $20, due upon registration. We hope you will join us in one or more of our creative events during the month of September.
