Debra L. Lowrey-Sutton, 66, Syracuse, passed away at 4:44 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 19, 2019, at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana in Fort Wayne. She was born on March 19, 1953, in Riverside, Calif. to Robert Lewis Lowrey and Joycelyn Joan (Durkee) Lowrey.

She grew up in Riverside, Calif. and graduated from high school there. She was married on Dec. 24, 2001, in Peru, to Donald Scott “Don” Sutton who preceded her on Sept. 21, 2002. She formerly worked at Kinder Vision in Peru for 15 years and moved to the Syracuse area 16 years ago from Peru.

She is survived by her companion, Randy Peterson, Syracuse.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. SR 15, Warsaw. No services are planned at this time. Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, is in charge of arrangements.
