WARSAW – Athletes from Kosciusko County Special Olympics competed in regional tournament play. Athletes took part in both a corn hole tournament and a flag football tournament in two locations.

The Corn Toss tournament was held at Hidden Ego & Recreation Center in Kendallville. Teams included the following:
30 Foot competition division
Norman McPeak/ Mike Parker – third place in the finals
Wayne Momeyer/ Gale Vanator
Ruby French/ Sandy Hunter
Scott Frush/ Steve Slate

21 Foot competition division
Sabrina Turner/ Teri Hughes
Kathy Kumfer/ Elizabeth Wabol

Unified competition
Bobbie Pelfry/ Ryan Wheeler

The Cody Harris Memorial Flag Football tournament  was held at Mississinewa High School.

The Kosciusko County Panthers came in third place losing to the Grant County Hot Rods 38-25 and Tippecanoe County Knights 59-33.

Flag Football athletes included Matt Bammel, Brandon Bee, Joe Bradley, Jacob Green, Kevin McPeak, Tyler Mishler, Amy Philson, Gage Sellers, Gabe Santana and Timothy Warner- Guile.
