Barbara L. Wynn, 97, Rochester, passed away at 2:37 p.m. Friday, Aug. 16, 2019, at Wynnfield Crossing, Rochester.

She was born on April 11, 1922, in Rochester, the daughter of Manford and Lucille (Paschall) Newell. On Jan. 6, 1946, in Rochester, she married Eli Wynn. He preceded her in death on Nov. 14, 1988.

Mrs. Wynn had been a homemaker and had worked at the Rochester Community Schools in the cafeteria. She was an active member of the First Christian Church where she was a member of the Christian Women’s Fellowship. In her leisure time, she enjoyed traveling, crafts and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her children, Patty Ann and husband Mike Bingle, Rochester; Deb and husband Roger Vigar, Rochester; Jerry and wife Joellen Wynn, Rochester; Terry and wife Mary Wynn, Rochester; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Nancy Duzenbery and brother, John Richard Newell.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 20, at Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home, Rochester, with Ted Waggoner officiating. Burial will follow in the Odd Fellows Cemetery, Rochester.
