SILVER LAKE — Several fire departments responded to a residential fire just north of the southern Kosciusko County border.

At approximately 11:50 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 10, Silver Lake Fire Department was called to a house fire at 5138 W. CR 1300S, Silver Lake.

Soon after the initial call came out, Silver Lake Fire Department requested a full assist from Clay Township Fire Department and Burket Fire Department. The fire was under control within 30 minutes of the initial call.

Parkview EMS also assisted at the scene.
