Leigh A. Utter, 58, Winona Lake, and formerly of Mentone, passed at 1:09 pm, Saturday, Aug. 3, 2019, at Lutheran Hospital of Fort Wayne, after being in failing health for the past few years.

She was born on March 3, 1961, in Warsaw, to Terry L. and Anne (Nelson) Utter.

She worked 29 years for Warsaw Chemical Company as a purchasing agent.

She graduated in 1979 from Tippecanoe Valley High School.  She furthered her education attaining an Associate Degree from International Business College of Fort Wayne.  She enjoyed pottery and ceramics, as well as planting flowers, and golfing. She always loved spending time with her great-niece and nephews.

She is survived by her mother, Anne Utter, Winona Lake; sister, Lynn (Glenn) Novitski, Spencerville; nephews: Matthew, Eric and Alex; great-niece: Raelyn; great-nephew: Hunter. She was preceded in death by her father.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 8,at King Memorial Home 101 North Tucker Street Mentone with Pastor Jason Rice officiating.

Interment will take place in the Mentone Cemetery, Mentone, Indiana.

Visitation hours will be from 2 pm to 4 pm and 6 pm to 8 pm, Wednesday, Aug. 7, at King Memorial Home, Mentone, Indiana.

Donation can be made in her memory to the donor’s choice of charity.
