Kosciusko

Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accident:

1:00 a.m. Monday, July 29, South CR 525E, east of East CR 600S, Pierceton. Driver: Kyan N. Ramsey, 20, Hartzler Street, Warsaw. Ramsey’s vehicle went off the road, struck a utility pole guide wire and came to a stop in a planted soybean field. Ramsey initially left the scene. The following day, Ramsey attempted to report his vehicle was stolen. He later admitted he was in fact driving the vehicle at the time of the crash and was nervous due to his license being suspended. Damage up to $5,000. 

Fulton

Officers with the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:

9:26 p.m. Monday, July 29, US 31 and SR 14. Driver: Amanda M. Ellison, 20, South Bend. Ellison lost control of her vehicle and spun out in the median.

5:24 p.m. Monday, July 29, US 30 and CR 350S, Rochester. Driver: Jakob T. Wesolowski, 21, Walkerton. Wesolowski’s vehicle struck a deer.

4:59 p.m. Monday, July 29, SR 25 and US 31. Drivers: Glenn H. Bartlett, 83, Macy; and Brian M. Boldry, 53, Rochester. Bartlett’s vehicle struck Boldry’s vehicle.

4:45 p.m. Monday, July 29, 1192 W. Sixth St., Rochester. Driver: Mark A. Gentry, 67, Rochester. No details were available.

12:47 p.m. Monday, July 29, US 31 and Old Highway 31. Drivers: Megen S. Biehl, 28, Macy; and Steven A. Hipwood, 58, Deerfield, Wy. One person was injured and airlifted from the scene by Samariton Air Ambulance No further information was available.
