WARSAW — A city council candidate is hosting a community barbeque from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 19.

The event at Beyer Park in Warsaw is a fundraiser for Sara McNeal-Strahan Lenfestey, who is running for the District 1 seat on the Democratic ticket against incumbent Republican Jeff Grose.

Food and drinks will be served and entertainment provided.

A meal with hotdogs is $5 while a meal with a hamburger is $7.

Chips, soft drinks, water and cookies will also be available.
