KOSCIUSKO — More details have been released on a child molesting case involving Vincent Corey Banks, 56, 4873 E. SR 14, Claypool.
Banks is being charged with child molesting and vicarious sexual gratification, both Class C felonies.
The Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office received information that a child had provided information that she had been touched inappropriately by Banks.
Child Protective Services and a KCSO officer spoke with the child, who said she liked touching herself and that Banks would talk to her about touching herself. According to court documents, Banks and the child would help one another touch themselves. The child said this occurred for approximately two years.
Banks admitted that the child was 5 or 6 years old when this happened and that it occurred during a two-week time period.
A no contact order has been established between Banks and the victim in this case.
Banks was formerly associated with Rise-n’-Roll Bakery, Warsaw.
He was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail on July 16, with a $50,250 surety and cash bond.
