Charity Ride Seeks To Help With Funeral Expenses Of Disabled Woman

WARSAW — A benefit motorcycle ride is planned in memory of Taiya Hope at the Kosciusko County Fairgrounds to help with funeral expenses incurred after the death of the 20-year-old disabled woman.

Registration for the charity ride for Taiya Hope will begin at 10 a.m., July 27.

The ride begins at noon. Suggested donations are $20 for riders or $25 with a passenger. Meals are included with the donation.

Plates for $5 will be available for those who don’t choose to ride.

A bake sale and silent auction are also planned. The Hall Family will be performing.

Born weighing 15 oz, Taiya was 8 inches long and conidered to be a micro-preemie. She lived 19 of her years in the custody and constant love and care of grandparents, Terry and Deborah Kreft. She struggled her entire life with medical issues and disability but was loved beyond measure, according to a news release prepared by friends.
