WARSAW – The Indiana Department of Transportation announced on Tuesday that bridge maintenance is scheduled along US 30 in two locations in Whitley and Kosciusko counties, beginning Wednesday, July 17, weather permitting.

Beginning as soon as Wednesday, motorists may experience alternating lane restrictions and traffic directed by a flagger at two locations:

• US 30 over Deeds Creek, just west of S.R. 13 in Kosciusko County
• US 30 over Schuman Ditch, east of S.R. 5, between in Whitley County

INDOT reminds drivers to use caution and consider worker safety when driving through an active construction zone. 

Work on the bridges is expected to continue through early August, weather permitting. The contract was awarded to Pioneer & Associates for $573,000 and includes maintenance on several structures across the Fort Wayne District.
