Woman Faces Drug Charges After Allegedly Overdosing In North Webster

NORTH WEBSTER — A Kosciusko County woman faces two drug charges after suffering an overdose in early June.

North Webster police were notified of a woman in a bathroom on June 4 who appeared to be unresponsive. An unidentified person led authorities to a residence in North Webster where they were told Amanda Waggoner, 28, 503 Prairie Drive, Syracuse, was inside the bathroom and unresponsive, according to court documents.

North Webster police removed the door and found Waggoner inside and unresponsive. Authorities administered more than one dose of Narcan before she was revived.

Officials found a syringe and a makeup bag containing methamphetamine nearby.

She faces charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of a syringe, both  level six felonies.

Waggoner was taken to a nearby hospital for a review of her condition and then taken to Kosciusko County Jail.

Authorities later determined she had two warrants in Kosciusko County. 

Her bond was set at $5,250 cash and surety.
