KOSCIUSKO COUNTY — This weekend Christian singer Michael Wayne Smith will be visiting churches throughout the area.

Tomorrow, Saturday, June 22, he will be visiting Harvest Community Church, 512 S. Seventh St., Pierceton, at 6 p.m.

Smith will be performing at the lakeside service at Patona Bay at 8:30 a.m. Sunday, June 23, on Lake Tippecanoe in Leesburg.

At 10:30 a.m. Sunday, June 23, Smith will perform at the Spirit of Faith Fellowship, 2904 S. Main St., Goshen. Contact Pastor Carl Adams at (574) 265-5727 for more information.

Finally, Smith will end the weekend at the Warsaw Family Worship Center, 1250 Husky Trail, Warsaw, at 6 p.m. Sunday, June 23.

There is no cost to attend any of these events but free will offerings will be taken at each of the locations.

Smith is a Christian singer and songwriter from Oak Ridge, Tenn., and has been traveling in ministry with his family since 2009, proclaiming the love of Christ through music.

Before launching his own ministry, Smith wrote songs for other gospel artists. His song, “My Home,” is perhaps his most well known, becoming a #1 hit on many radio stations across the country.

When Smith released his first CD entitled Welcome Home, the first radio single, “Everything’s Fine,” became an instant hit and began opening doors for him and is still his most requested to this day.

He has released many albums and also many radio singles over the years.
