Susann M. Kellogg, 86, Syracuse, passed away at 11:47 a.m. on Wednesday, June 12, 2019, at Goshen Hospital. She was born on March 27, 1933, in Fort Wayne to Edwin and Marcella (Drewit) Scheele.

She grew up in Fort Wayne, attended Central Catholic High School in Fort Wayne and graduated from St. Petersburg Catholic High School in St. Petersburg, Fla. She was married on May 28, 1955, in Syracuse, to George W. Kellogg who preceded her on March 12, 1996. She was a homemaker and former secretary for Pepsi Cola Bottling Plant in Fort Wayne and Warsaw. She lived most of her life in the Nappanee and Syracuse area and wintered in Fort Myers Beach, FL.

She was a member of the St. Martins de Porres Catholic Parish in Syracuse, Fraternal Order of Eagles 3760 Aerie in Syracuse, and American Legion Auxiliary in Nappanee. She loved Hummingbirds & squirrels.

She is survived by three daughters: Ann Connolly of Nappanee, Teresa (Allan) Mawhorter of Syracuse, and Sandra Kellogg of Elkhart; two sons: John (Carol) Kellogg of Syracuse and George (Judy) Kellogg of Clermont, Fla.; four grandchildren: Kristyn (Brad) Personett, Austin Kellogg, Weston Connolly, and Mikala Mawhorter; and a great-grandson: Cooper Personett

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother – Richard Scheele.

A service will be planned at a later date. Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. SR 15, Warsaw, is in charge of arrangements.
