WARSAW — Cardinal Services is proud to announce that the family of Jerry and Darcy Deeter has donated $250,000 toward its future home. The family has a long and strong commitment to Cardinal and its mission, volunteering on its board, on committees and in various programs serving people with disabilities.

In making the award to Cardinal Services, the family stated that the gift is in memory of Howard “Chub” and Mary Smith, Darcy’s parents. According to Jennifer Lancaster, her grandparents “always had time to help someone else, someone in need, or to help someone get to a better place in life by providing care, work, or a connection to someone else who could help them.”

Cardinal CEO Randy Hall expressed gratitude to the Deeter family on behalf of the nearly 4,000 people Cardinal serves each year. Cardinal provides services to adults with intellectual disabilities, and to families who have small children with needs.
