SILVER LAKE — Around 8:30 p.m. tonight, June 1, multiple fire departments responded to a fully engulfed house fire at 4172 West CR 900S, Silver Lake.

Burket Fire Department was initially called to the scene and advised that flames were coming through the front door. Silver Lake Fire Department and Claypool Fire Department responded for assistance along with officers from the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department and Four-Way EMS.

The house was fully engulfed from the fire but officers on scene advised that they believed no one was home at the time.
