Officers from the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following incidents:

  • 9:51 a.m. Tuesday, May 28, 100 block of EMS D24 Lane, Syracuse. Police responded to the Isaac Pena residence to investigate the theft of a license plate. Value: $100.
  • 4:20 p.m. Sunday, May 26, 2900 block of East Joshua Drive, Warsaw. Police responded to the Jonathan Carvajal residence to investigate the theft of a license plate. 
  • 10 a.m. Saturday, May 25, 2400 block of East Pontiac Drive, Warsaw. Police responded to the Dennis Shumaker residence to investigate a theft. Taken was a pair of chain saws. Value: $680.
  • 6:47 a.m. Saturday, May 25, 10600 block of North Southshore Drive, Syracuse. Police responded to the John Heckaman residence to investigate the theft of a work van and tools. Taken was a red 2011 Ford van and socket and ratchet tools. Value: $10,025.

North Webster

Officers from the North Webster Police Department investigated the following incident:

  • 1:58 p.m. Tuesday, May 28, 100 block of West Huntington Street, North Webster. Police responded to a report from Judy’s De Ja Vu in reference to the theft of planter’s and baskets. Value: $90.

Warsaw

Officers from the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following incident:

  • 9:16 a.m. Wednesday, May 29, 400 block of North Columbia Street, Warsaw. Police responded to the Jana Gill residence to investigate the theft of a walk behind mower. Value: $200.
