WARSAW — Due to widespread power outages caused by severe thunderstorms early this morning, Warsaw Community Schools was forced to cancel school Thursday, May 23. Following the closure, administrators with the school district applied for a waiver for the instructional day. The Indiana Department of Education has granted that waiver and the final day of school will remain tomorrow, Friday, May 24, with the last teacher workday on Tuesday, May 28. This means today’s cancellation will not be required to be made up through an e-learning day or make up day by students and staff.

Warsaw Community Schools would like to thank parents for their understanding and wish students and staff a wonderful last day of school tomorrow, Friday, May 24. Specific schedule changes will be communicated by principals at each WCS school as details become available.
