Baker Youth Club Holds End Of School Year Awards Ceremony

Award winners from the Baker Youth Club end of the school year awards ceremony pose with their certificates alongside BYC staff members.

WARSAW — Baker Youth Club held its annual end of the school year award ceremony on Monday, May 20. BYC Executive Director Tracy Furnivall presented the awards at the ceremony.

The awards focused on various categories including art, citizenship, physical fitness and STEM.

The Boy of the Year award was given to Isaac LaRue and the Girl of the Year award was presented to Madilynn Wilkerson. Jackson Sroufe was Boy of the Year runner-up and Cierah Ramirez was Girl of the Year runner-up.

Furnivall also recognized BYC staff members and volunteers for their dedication and service.

The awards were given as follows:

STEM

Elyjah Fields, Aaravv (Otto) Parekh, Rebecca Paton, Joaquin Ridley, Kieryn Sroufe

Art

Deep Patel, Harmony Boyd, Julia Stavdhol, Maddalynn Anthony

Citizenship

Josh Martin, Stella Wiggins, Xavier Xique, Addy Williams

Physical Fitness

Jaiyden Penrod, Haylee Fletcher, Aarush Dara, Sophia Rios

Homework Room

Brayden Oswalt, Elizabeth Long, Ethan Sinclair, Ben Turek, Diya Patel, Annabelle Paton

Middle School Volunteers and Mentors

Hayden Xique, Shannon Ridley, Ben Rodriquez, Mia Blocher

Boys of the Month and Girls of the Month awards were also presented for the months of August through May. The winners of those awards were:
