Kosciusko

Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:

8:13 p.m. Monday, May 20, North CR 400E, north of East CR 200N, Warsaw. Driver: Wanda M. Bills, 63, East Armstrong Road, Leesburg. Bills was traveling north on CR 400E when her vehicle left the roadway, striking a pole and mailbox. Damage up to $10,000.

6:10 p.m. Monday, May 20, North CR 800W, south of West US 30, Warsaw. Drivers: Jeffrey J. Miller, 56, North CR 875W, Etna Green; and Allysa D. Willis, 19, Andrews Avenue, Nappanee. Miller was traveling south on CR 800W when he rear-ended Willis’ vehicle. Damage under $750.

7:57 a.m. Monday, May 20, North SR 19, west of SR 10, Etna Green. Driver: Jacob M. Fry, 28, 10th Street, Logansport. Fry was traveling south on SR 19 when he lost control of his vehicle. This caused his vehicle to travel into a ditch and strike a Nipsco pipeline box. Damage up to $1,000.

6:28 a.m. Monday, May 20, West CR 700S, west of West CR 1000S, Mentone. Driver: Riley Reichard, 20, South CR 1300W, Akron. Reichard was traveling east on CR 700S when he lost control of his vehicle after cresting a hill. This caused Reichard’s vehicle to leave the roadway and damage the yard and landscaping of a property. Damage up to $25,000.

Milford

Officers with the Milford Police Department investigated the following accidents:

10:44 a.m. Tuesday, May 21, SR 15, south of CR 1350N, Milford. Driver: Cynthia A. Brooks, 74, East CR 1250N, Milford. Brooks was traveling south on SR 15 when her vehicle started to hydroplane. This caused Brooks’ vehicle to leave the roadway. Brooks was transported to Goshen Hospital due to head pain. Damage up to $2,500.

11:26 p.m. Saturday, May 18, CR 1250N, west of CR 60W, Milford. Driver: Travis A. Fowler, 44, South CR 25W, Warsaw. Fowler was traveling west on CR 1250N when a deer entered the roadway. Fowler swerved his vehicle to avoid a collision, causing his vehicle to leave the roadway and crash through a fence. Damage up to $10,000.

Syracuse

Officers with the Syracuse Police Department investigated the following accident:

10:04 a.m. Saturday, May 18, West Pickwick Drive, south of South Huntington Street, Syracuse. Drivers: Kellie D. Faulkner, 35, County Road 52, Syracuse; and Landon Cole, 24, Church Street, Wabash. Cole was traveling south and had a green light at an intersection when Faulkner’s vehicle pulled out in front of him. Damage up to $5,000.
