Eric D. Miller, 74, Macy, passed away at 3:50 a.m. Thursday May 9, 2019, in Macy.

He was born on Nov. 30, 1944, in Elwood, the son of Imel and Dorothy (Hoover) Miller. He served as Staff Sergeant in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War specializing in Survival Instructions.

Eric owned and operated his own long haul trucking service before retirement. He recently had served on the Nyona-South Mud Lake Conservancy Board.

Survivors include his daughter, Danielle Laughry, Nappanee; companion, Vicki Vonderahe, Macy; sister, Rita Simmons, Indianapolis; grandchildren: Pamela Laughry, Nappanee; Kearry and wife Angela Laughry, Nappanee. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Kent Miller.
