A memorial for Titus is at the entrance of G & G Hauling & Excavating at 2064 North CR 150W, Warsaw.

WINONA LAKE — In memory and respect of Winona Lake Fire Chief Mitch Titus, the Town of Winona Lake offices will be closed on Thursday, May 9.

Titus, 47, Warsaw, passed away Sunday, May 5, 2019, at Lutheran Hospital of Fort Wayne, following injuries sustained Friday, May 3, in a work-related accident at his full-time job.

Family and friends are invited to share their condolences and memories during a visitation that will be held from 2-8 p.m., Wednesday, May 8, at the Winona Heritage Room, 901 Park Ave., Winona Lake.

The funeral service for Titus will take place at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 9, at The Manahan Orthopaedic Capital Center, 610 Wooster Road, Winona Lake, and will be officiated by Pastor Denny Wilson and Pastor Jeff Pfeifer. 

Burial will follow with a graveside service at Oakwood Cemetery in Warsaw.
