Patricia J. Grabill, 88, New Paris, passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2019, at Goshen General Hospital after a short illness.

She was born Nov. 29, 1930, in Nappanee, to Roy and Orpha (Yoder) Chambers. On Oct. 24, 1954, she married LeRoy G. Grabill in Wakarusa.

She is survived by her husband LeRoy of New Paris; two sons Timothy “Tim” (Mary) Grabill of Bay Minette, Ala.; Christopher Grabill of Wakarusa; and four grandchildren Joseph (Michelle) Grabill, Patricia (William) Riedel, Jacob (Arianna) Grabill, Daniel (Bethany) Grabill and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 sisters Beatrice Chambers and Ruth Metzler.

She worked at Blue Bell Sewing Plant and Fairmont Homes in Nappanee, retiring in 1995. She was a 1948 graduate of Wakarusa High School and a member of Bible Baptist Church, Wakarusa where she served numerous capacities.

Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday, April 29, at Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret-Lienhart Funeral Home, 117 W. Waterford St. Wakarusa and also 1 hour prior to a 10:30 a.m. funeral service Tuesday, April 30, at Bible Baptist Church 205 E. Waterford St. Wakarusa. Pastors David Harper and Jeremy Chesley will officiate. Burial will follow at Yellow Creek Cemetery.
