A few notes heading into the weekend for sports around the area.

The Triton and Tippecanoe Valley track teams will compete in Monday’s Warrior Invite hosted by North Miami. The meet was rescheduled after a rainout two Fridays ago. Events will start at 5:30 p.m.

The Triton v. NorthWood varsity softball game has been postponed from Saturday, April 27, to now Friday, May 17, at Triton’s Bill Keyser Field with a 5 p.m. start time.

NorthWood’s JV and varsity baseball games for today, Friday, have been moved to Plymouth due to poor field conditions at NorthWood. Game time is still 5 p.m.

NorthWood’s JV and varsity baseball games for Saturday, April 27, have been condensed to a 10 a.m. start time for both games. Bremen will be in town for NorthWood’s Strike Out Cancer games.

Warsaw added a JV baseball game to its calendar, a 5:30 p.m. start against Fort Wayne Carroll on Thursday, May 2. The game will be played at Boggs Little League.

Warsaw JV softball at Huntington North for Saturday, April 27, has been cancelled and will not be made up. The call for the varsity game will be made late Friday.
