Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:

4:26 a.m. Friday, April 26, West CR 600S, west of South CR 50W, Claypool. Driver: Leah D. Oaks, 28, North Colfax Street, Warsaw. Oaks was traveling west on CR 600S when she swerved out of the way for a vehicle traveling east. Oaks’ vehicle went off the south side of the road and struck a steel post. The vehicle then overturned, ending up on its tires. Damage up to $10,000. 

4:14 a.m. Thursday, April 25, South Packerton Road, south of CR 1000S, Claypool. Driver: Kylea Mongosa, 23, North Washington Street, Urbana. Mongosa’s vehicle struck a raccoon in the roadway. Damage up to $2,500. 

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

12:31 p.m. Friday, April 26, Lake City Highway, east of North Parker Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Zachery N. Morris, 19, Elaine Drive, Warsaw; and Roger L. Long, 55, EMS C28E Lane, Warsaw. Morris’ vehicle rear-ended Long’s vehicle. Long complained of back pain but refused EMS treatment. Damage up to $2,500. 

7:21 a.m. Friday, April 26, US 30 and CR 150W, Warsaw. Drivers: Cassie L. Leadford, 42, Rosevelt Street, Warsaw; and Ignacio Guerra, 40, West Center Street, Warsaw. Leadford’s vehicle rear-ended Guerra’s vehicle. Damage up to $10,000.
