TRITON 165, MISHAWAKA 198, JOHN GLENN 214

An even par 36 from Beau Hepler paced Triton in a pair of wins Wednesday at Eberhart Petro Golf Course.

Hepler’s round featured par on all nine of the Eberhart front nine layouts.

Cole McKinney and John Gardner both shot 42 and Chase Butler had a 45 for the Trojan scorers. Keegan Westafer was the fifth score at 50.

Mishawaka’s Kyle Sears fired a 45 to pace the maroon, with Ben Pamachena at 48, Jacob Roeder at 50 and Payton Engdahl at 55.

Glenn’s Alec Slater was the standout with a 46 and Blaine Kemp six back at 52, followed by Brandon Becker at 57 and Jimmy Gouker at 59.

Triton is scheduled to work again Thursday against Plymouth.

TIPPECANOE VALLEY MIDDLE SCHOOL 188, WABASH 226

Valley opened its middle school season in style swinging past its neighbors in Wabash.

Greg Miller led everyone in the coed meet with a 40. Teammate Ethan Young had a 49 with Cody Eastgate at 56 and Ian Cooksey and Evan Bolinger both at 61. The boys singularly scored a 206.

The Valley girls had Kaydence Mellott post a 48, Madelyn Weaver and Lydia Miller at 51, Molly Moriarty at 55 and Lily Ault at 62. The girls singularly scored a 205.
