Officers from the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:

6:25 a.m. Monday, April 15, North CR 850E, south of East Koher Road, Syracuse. Drivers: Mark Ryl-Kuchar, 25, Backwater Road, North Webster; and Gabriel Baase, 37, Wawasee Circle, Cromwell. Ryl-Kuchar advised that he crossed into the opposite lane of travel due to a vehicle attempting to pass. This caused Ryl-Kuchar’s vehicle to collide with Baase’s vehicle. Damages up to $10,000.

9:45 p.m. Saturday, April 13, West CR 1250N and North CR 500W, Milford. Driver: Mikel Price, 21, Broad Avenue, Nappanee. Price’s vehicle struck a deer in the roadway. Damages up to $10,000.

8:56 p.m. Friday, April 12, West Old Road 30, west of North CR 800W, Etna Green. Driver: Charles Cleveland, 58, Pearl Street, Plymouth. Cleveland’s vehicle struck a deer in the roadway. Damages up to $10,000.
