Peggy A. Miller, 62, Syracuse, passed away at 4:55 p.m. on Saturday, April 6, 2019, at Miller’s Merry Manor in Syracuse. She was born on May 27, 1956, in LaGrange, Donald D. and Velda F. (Kline) Clay.

She graduated in 1975 from Wawasee High School in Syracuse and was a lifetime Goshen and Syracuse area resident except for 5 years in Dallas, Texas. She was married on Dec. 22, 1987, in Dallas, Texas to Andrew M. “Andy” Miller who survives. She formerly worked at Millenium Industries in Ligonier, and Syracuse Rubber Company, Burger King, Casey Convenience Store, and Lances New Market all in Syracuse.

She was a member of the Calvary United Methodist Church, Eagles Lodge, and American Legion Auxiliary all in Syracuse.

She is survived by her husband, Andy Miller, Syracuse; daughter, Misty Briggs, Syracuse; step-daughter: Amanda (Rick) Rollins, Leesburg; step-son: Louis Miller, Albuquerque, N.M.; six grandchildren: two sisters: Diane (Gary) Miller, Goshen; Susan (David) Coy, Syracuse.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald Clay and Velda Fulford and brother, James Clay.

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 10, at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. in the funeral home on Wednesday with Pastor David Henry officiating. Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. SR 15, Warsaw. Private family burial will take place in the Syracuse Cemetery at a later date.
