Kosciusko

Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents: 

5:44 a.m. Monday, March 25, on SR 15, north of West Levi Lee Road, north of Warsaw. Driver: Kacy M. McClelland, 33, East Dove Lane, Milford. Vehicle struck a deer and then hit a sign. Damages: Up to $25,000.

9:18 a.m. Saturday, March 23, on US 30, east of North CR 750W, west of Warsaw. Drivers: Keith Averill, 55, Briarhills Circle, Reno, Nevada; Devon M. Holmes, 38, Peoria Street, Chicago. Averill was attempting to pass Holmes’ vehicle, but clipped the front end of Holmes’ vehicle and spun off the road. Damage: Up to $50,000.

6:51 a.m. Saturday, March 23, on West CR 400N, north of North CR 150W. Driver: Joshua W. Gigous, 47, Tennis Street, Winona Lake. Driver swerved to avoid a deer in the road, veered off the road, hit a large rock. Gigous was taken to a hospital with an injured wrist and head pain. Damage: Up to $10,000.

6:46 p.m. Saturday, March 23, on SR 13, north of East CR 600S, near Pierceton. Drivers: Linda L. Beck, 60, South Merkle Street, 1E., North Manchester. Driver struck a deer. Damage: Up to $2,500.

5:43 a.m. Saturday, March 23, on SR 15S, south of West Union Street, south of Warsaw. Drivers: Roy A. Thomas, 62, North High Street, Silver Lake; Saundra A. Graham, 58, North High Street, Silver Lake. Graham was southbound when the other car entered her lane and they collided. Thomas said he did not remember what happened. Damage: Up to $25,000.

7:30 a.m., Friday, March 22, at South Country Club Road and East CR 300S, Warsaw. Driver: Sarah Enyeart, 29, P.O. Box 152, North Manchester. Vehicle struck a deer. Damage: Up to $10,000.

Claypool

Officers with the Claypool Police Department investigated the following accident:

1:55 p.m. Friday, March 22, on South Industrial Drive near CR 400S. Drivers: Rafael B. Jimenez, 59, Akron; John S. Haecker, 58, South CR 75E, Wabash. Jimenez was pulling out of a parking spot and did not see on-coming traffic on Industrial Drive and was hit by a vehicle driven by Haeker. Damage: Up to $5,000.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

5:44 p.m. Friday, March 22, on SR 15 and Enterprise Drive, Warsaw. Drivers: Breeden Miya J. Kennedy, 18, North Orchard Drive, Warsaw; Kelly L. Elder, 53, North Third Place, Leesburg. Kennedy said she struck the other vehicle after pulling onto SR 15 from Enterprise. Damage: Up to $2,500.

5:15 p.m. Friday, March 22, on East Center Street and North Hickory Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Anna M. Stamper, 31, West CR 250S, #20, Warsaw; Jeremiah B. Clemens, 29, South Columbia Street, Warsaw. Stamper’s vehicle rear-ended the vehicle driven by Clemens while entering the intersection. Damage: Up to $10,000.
