All Safe After Car Goes Into Wetland

This Toyota Corolla ended up in the wetland area off Camp Mack Road this morning. The driver and several children inside the vehicle when the crash occurred were not injured.

MILFORD — The driver and several young passengers are safe and uninjured after the vehicle they were in went off the roadway and into a wetland area this morning, Friday, March 22.

The accident occurred around 7:55 a.m. on Camp Mack Road, north of Waubee Beach, Milford.

Milford Fire, Milford Police, Syracuse Police and Kosciusko County Dive Team responded along with Lutheran EMS. All occupants were out of the vehicle when firefighters and police arrived. The children were checked by paramedics before being released to a parent/guardian.

No details of how the crash occurred was available.
