Sandra “Sandie” Lynn Prater, 51, Warsaw, passed away at 2:23 p.m., Wednesday, March 13, 2019, in her residence. She was born on Oct. 22, 1967, in Lima, Ohio to James Carl and Zella Sue (Hatfield) Wright.

She was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County. On Feb. 15, 1986, she was united in marriage to Scott Prater in the Pierceton area. She loved her family dearly and cherished the time she was able to spend with her husband, children, and grandchildren. She enjoyed the summer weather and soaking up the sun. She also had a good time making trips to the Casino. More than anything she took care of her family and was loved and cherished by many.

She is survived by her husband: Scott Prater of Warsaw; daughters: Stefanie (Kurt) Kralis of Pierceton; Brittanie Prater of Pierceton; grandchildren: Landon Kralis and Brodie Slusher; and a sister: Linda Scheuer of Tenn.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and a sister, Tammy McGannon.

A Memorial Service will be held at 7 p.m., Wednesday, March 20, in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Pierceton with two hours of visitation prior to the service from 5-7 p.m. Pastor Dave Weller with officiate the Memorial Service. Interment will private.
