WARSAW — The Genealogy Department of the Kosciusko County Historical Society has announced several upcoming events.

In March, Sara Allen from the Fort Wayne Allen County Genealogy Center will share information on DNA on Tuesday March 19. The meeting will be in the Old Jail Museum Library, 121 N Indiana St., Warsaw. In April, Mike Kissinger from the Kosciusko County courthouse will share information on Land Records. He will discuss terminology, available records, maps and plats for the county. The meeting will also be in the Old Jail Museum and will be held from 10 a.m. to noon. For further information contact: [email protected] or call (574) 269-1078 and ask for the Genealogy Library

The Genealogy research library is staffed Wednesday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The library is the archives for many county records, including court records and wills.
