Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:
7:22 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 26, North SR 15, north of West CR 400N, Warsaw. Drivers: Tyler L. Goodpaster, 22, Old Colony Road, Warsaw; and Jennifer L. Mitchell, 47, South Morton Street, Warsaw. Goodpaster was traveling south on SR 15 when his vehicle crossed the center line and overcorrected. This caused Goodpaster to strike Mitchell’s vehicle. Damage up to $10,000.
6:27 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 26, East Old Road 30, near South CR 325E, Warsaw. Driver: Jeanne M. Reimer, 58, EMS B27 Lane, Pierceton. Reimer was traveling west on Old Road 30 when a deer entered the roadway. Damage up to $5,000.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
8:39 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 26, SR 15, south of Rosella Road, Warsaw. Drivers: Ashley K. Blackburn, 21, West Dogwood Street, Warsaw; and Timothy J. Williams, 50, North Harmony Steed Street, Brazil. Blackburn was traveling behind Williams’ vehicle when she rear-ended him. Damage up to $5,000.g
6:44 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 26, East Fort Wayne Street, west of North Fort Wayne Avenue, Warsaw. Driver: unknown. Katheryn Wilcox, Columbia City, said her vehicle was parked and unoccupied when it sustained damage to its rear driver’s side tail light and bumper area. The driver that caused the damage left the scene of the accident. Damage up to $5,000.
