ANGOLA GYMNASTICS 115.9, WAWASEE 106.0

In Wawasee’s first middle school gymnastics competition, Eden Scott led the way for the Warriors with a 36.9 all-around score. Scott scored 9.7 on beam, 9.1 on vault and bars, and 9.0 on floor. Delaney Delagrange had a 9.0 on bars, 8.8 on beam and 8.6 on floor, and Morgan Reel added an 8.7 on vault.

NorthWood had one competitor in Emilee Conrad, who scored a 36.5 in all-around. She talled 9.3 on vault, 9.1 on beam and floor, and 9.0 on bars.

LAKEVIEW 7TH GRADE GIRLS BASKETBALL 53, MANCHESTER 27

All nine girls on Lakeview’s team scored in the big win. Joey Rastrelli led the winners (12-1) with 13 points while Jael Namfukwe had 12 points and Abigail Davis added 11 points.

LAKEVIEW 8TH GRADE GIRLS BASKETBALL 43, MANCHESTER 7

Lakeview took control early and never let up in its lopsided win. The Tigers held the Squires scoreless in the first half, taking a 29-0 lead into the break. Riley Burns led Lakeview with 12 points followed by Macey Perry with six points.

NORTHWOOD 7TH GRADE GIRLS BASKETBALL 22, JIMTOWN 10

Joselyn Edwards led the Panthers to the win, scoring 10 points to go with six steals, three rebounds and two blocks. Sophie Vincent also had a big game, recording seven points, 10 rebounds and two steals.

TIPPECANOE VALLEY 7TH GRADE GIRLS BASKETBALL 27, NORTH MIAMI 14

The Vikings moved to 8-2 this season by nearly doubling up North Miami. Chesnee Miller led the victory charge with seven points and teammate Ava Smith tossed in six points.

NORTHWOOD WRESTLING 99, LAKEVIEW 6

It was all business for NorthWood in this one-sided affair. Brandon Cardona was the lone Lakeview wrestler to score on NorthWood, getting a pin. Lakeview JV wrestlers to score points in their contests were Kaiden Fitzpatrick, Edwing Ortiz and Zack Burke. NorthWood did not report its side of results.

TIPPECANOE VALLEY WRESTLING 66, EDGEWOOD 34

Valley was able to defeat its county rivals with pins from Thad Shambaugh, Galvin Shambaugh, Issiac Ramsey, Jadyn Virgil, Zack Burke, Gerardo Hernandez, Dylin Losher, Dalton Alber, and Bazle Owens. Eric Burke and Gabe Ruiz also won matches for the Vikings. In exhibition matches, Valley wrestling winners were Jacob Kats, Dominic Cook, Cameron Mason, and Bobby Burke.
