WARSAW – Wawasee High School senior Morgan Adkins recently held a fundraiser to help raise money for
Kosciusko County Special Olympics. Adkins and her sister, Kennedi, raised nearly $428 to give back to the KCSO organization.

“I have been a part of helping raise money for Special Olympics since I was a freshman. I love the atmosphere in the gym when everyone cheers for the Special Olympic players on the court. It is truly amazing to see how the community comes together to raise money for such a great cause,” said Morgan Adkins.

Special Olympics Kosciusko provides year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for intellectually disabled children and adults. The fundraiser included a Special Olympics night at a home Wawasee boys basketball game on January 18. Throughout the night a raffle took place, and players from the Kosciusko Special Olympics played during the varsity halftime.
