ORLANDO, Fla. – The Rinker family, synonymous with boating in and around the Syracuse area, was presented with a boat racing honor this past weekend.

The American Power Boat Association (APBA) presented the Rinker family with a heritage award for 70 years of boat racing. Over 20 members of the Rinker family traveled to a banquet in Orlando to be presented with the award Friday night.

Members of the Rinker family noted in the racing legacy include John Rinker, Jerry Rinker, Lori Rinker, Randy Rinker, Terry Rinker, Ashton Rinker, Rob Rinker, Chris Rinker, Chris Dumford and Addison Dumford. The 2019 racing season will see the inclusion of two more Rinkers in Tanner Rinker and Mason Rinker.
