Kosciusko

Officers from the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:

12:50 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 30, West Crystal Lake Road, west of North Parks Schram Road, Warsaw. Driver: Gavin J. Truex, 18, South Wausau Street, Warsaw. Truex told police he was driving his vehicle eastbound on Crystal Lake Road, when he hit a snow drift with his vehicle, causing the vehicle to leave the roadway and come to rest on its top.  Damage up to $5,000.

9:21 p.m. Friday, Jan. 25, North SR 15, north of West CR 1000N, Milford. Drivers: Howard E. Johnson, 36, West CR 275N, Columbia City; Miranda K. Lutes, 47, East Walnut Street, Nappanee. Johnson told police he was driving his vehicle southbound on SR 15 and was eating a sandwich he had just picked up from Arby’s when he heard a sound that was a collision involving his sideview mirror. Lutes told police he was driving her vehicle northbound when the vehicle Johnson was driving crossed the center line, causing a sideswipe collision. Damage up to $1,000.

Warsaw

Officers from the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accident:

8:24 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 31, Wexford Place, north of Inverness Point, Warsaw. Driver: Chandra E. Hoover, 27, Oak Brook Place, Warsaw. Hoover told police she was driving her vehicle southbound on Wexford Place when she approached a curve. A light gray Dodge Dakota, driven by an unidentified female, approached northbound and crossed over the center line, causing a sideswipe collision. Hoover said the driver of the other vehicle fled the scene. Damage up to $2,500.
