WARSAW — During a three-minute meeting held yesterday, Jan. 29, the Economic Development Commission prepared for a new year.

Warsaw Mayor Joseph Thallemer gave the oath of office to commissioner Tom Allen.

“It’s important that citizens get very active in what we are doing here in the city and your willingness to do what’s best for the community is certainly appreciated,” said Thallemer. “I appreciate your willingness to serve on the Economic Development Commission for another four years.”

Before closing the meeting, the election of officers took place. Tom Allen will serve as president, Dan Robinson will serve as vice president and Ernie Wiggins will serve as secretary.
