IFCA Releases Its Academic All-State Awards

INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana Football Coaches Association released its expansive lists of Academic All-State football players lists for all classes.

Approximately 760 athletes were named to the list, which covers Class 1-A through 6-A in all corners of the state. The criteria for the IFCA honor is a minimum GPA of 3.40 on a 4.0 scale and a minimum SAT of 1660 or minimum ACT of 24.

Locally, a dozen players were named to the list. Listed below are the local and area schools that had players make the Academic All-State list:

Warsaw – John Culbertson, Bryce Garner, Logan Johnson, Gavin Truex, Josh West

NorthWood – Kyler Hauptli, Braden Mikel, Hayden Snider, Bronson Yoder

Triton – Kaden Atkins, Aaron Stichter

Wawasee – Isaiah Tipping

Culver Academy – Grant Boos, Emmett King III, Joe Kuhl, Trent Lipsett, Howard Mosley III, Evan Neher, Jackson Rice
