Kosciusko

Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:

7:13 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15, West Lake Street, west of North Fox Farm Road, Warsaw. Driver: Harry E. Meyer, 47, East Center Street, Warsaw. Meyer was traveling east on Lake City Highway when a deer entered the roadway. Damage up to $5,000.

11:51 p.m. Monday, Jan. 14, West CR 400N, west of North CR 150W, Warsaw. Drivers: Christopher R. Bartz, 40, South Wray Street, Atwood. Bartz was traveling east on West CR 400N when he noticed a deer in the roadway. As he drove around the deer, a second deer ran into the passenger side of Bartz’s vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.

 

North Webster

Officers with the North Webster Police Department investigated the following accident:

6:27 p.m. Monday, Jan. 14, North SR 13, south of East CR 800N, North Webster. Driver: Nicholas A. Lindsey, 24, East Lilac Lane, Cromwell. Lindsey was traveling south on SR 13 when a deer entered the roadway. Damage up to $25,000.

 

Pierceton

Officers with the Pierceton Police Department investigated the following accident:

2:08 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, SR 13, north of South CR 725, Pierceton. Driver: Anthony J. Hicks, 19, East CR 300N, Warsaw. Hicks was traveling north on SR 13 when he attempted to turn right. As he did so, Hicks’ vehicle collided with a stop sign. Damage up to $2,500.

 

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

9:43 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15, 1610 W. Center St., Warsaw. Driver: Darrell D. Drudge, 75, North Beechwood Street, Warsaw. Drudge was unable to recall the crash on scene due to a medical issue. A witness said Drudge’s vehicle left the roadway and struck a sign belonging to Mid-West Supply, Inc. Lutheran EMS transported Drudge to Kosciusko Community Hospital for medical treatment. Damage up to $2,500.

11:15 a.m. Monday, Jan. 14, SR 15, south of Jalynn Drive, Warsaw. Drivers: Jennifer G. Baumgartner, 62, Pheasant Ridge Drive, Warsaw; and Sarah S. Stanchin, 45, North Shore Drive, Leo. Baumgartner was traveling east on US 30 when she collided with Stanchin’s vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.

1:22 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 13, 650 W. CR 300N, Warsaw. Driver: unoccupied. A vehicle operated by Michelle L. Wehr, Warsaw, sustained damage while parked at TJ Maxx. The damage consisted of dents to the rear passenger side door. Damage up to $5,000.
